Launch Days

For all new students (first-time freshmen and transfers), we dedicate several days before classes begin to your welcome! These days focus on establishing connections with others and your insider knowledge of BU. Your presence is required during this time to give you the best possible start.

Housing

Living on campus allows you to have the most immersive college experience. Most first-year on-campus students live in either Shupe Hall or Oakwood-Slater Hall.

FYE Groups & Mentors

First-time Bethel students are placed in a cohort group during their fall semester, which allows them to study, socialize and navigate the first semester together. The group is two core classes co-taught by two professors, and two upperclassmen support students as FYE Mentors.
